As a community of Christians, we discern our ministry to be active in the community: listening to, caring for, and nurturing all God's people.
As caregivers to God's world, we will proceed with this call by forming lasting relationships with our neighbors. We will grow in faith as we serve our brothers and sisters. We remain a church open to change as we journey into the future.

Rev. Laura Blank
Rev. Laura Blank joined our Pleasant View community in June of 2017.

She's a graduate of Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) with a Bachelor of Music Education and of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.
​
Laura loves leading God's people in worship, listening to people's faith stories, joining in fellowship with the community and encouraging people to use their gifts for mission and ministry.
​
When she's not busy with the life of the church, you will probably find her on a river kayaking, on the farm hanging out with her animals, at a symphony concert in Pittsburgh or at home spoiling her dogs, Bowie and Tilly, and watching reruns of Star Trek: The Next Generation..
